I started taking photographs because I wanted a way to hold on to things.

Like the medium itself, I’m a pretty analog person and I tend to hoard sentimental things.

Most of my work lives somewhere between documentation and nostalgia. I’m not chasing perfect images as much as I’m trying to preserve a feeling.

After I bought my first film camera in 2016, I haven’t really stopped carrying one since. What began as curiosity slowly became a habit, then a hobby, then a way of paying attention.

Since I was young, I remember being super interested in film. The way it made the mundane special and allowed you to revisit memories and emotions. That was the start of my journey.

Partly because I enjoy the process, partly because it forces me to slow down.

The result isn’t always technically perfect, but that’s never really been the point.
